Assistant General Manager - SACO Jersey

We’re searching for an Assistant General Manager to join our team of free thinkers and collaborators.
It will be your responsibility to ensure that you and your team provide memorable service at every stage of the guest journey, you'll also be responding to and acting on guest reviews in a timely and professional manner. In this position, you'll be a role model for your team and will embody the edyn valyes by being the ‘go to’ person for guests, contractors and visitors.
In this role it will be your responsibility to:
- Handling all reservations activity in conjunction with the Reservations Team in the Support Centre
- Supervising housekeeping team members, ensuring they perform their duties and job descriptions in line with company expectations
- Assisting the General Manager in the daily operational running of the site and ensuring the site achieves all KPIs
- Effectively managing the rotas of the housekeeping team
- Delegating daily tasks as required to your team to ensure the smooth running of the apartment operation
- Supporting the Apartment Manager in ensuring Health and Safety requirements are met on site.
- Taking On Call and Duty Management responsibilities when required.
Who you are.
- 5 Years Residency
- Highly proficient in written and spoken English language
- Customer Service Skills
- Strong time management and organisation skills
- Good proble-solving skills, with the ability to think outside the box
- Hospitality experience is preferred but not essential
- People management experience is preferred but not essential
- Proficient with IT systems and software (including Microsoft Office)
- Driving Licence and access to a vehicle

- This is a full-time role where you will be working 5 days out of 7.
- For this role we would also consider reduced/flexible hours, this can be discussed with the General Manager at interview stage
