Dreaming of being a part of a hotel-opening in the heart of Copenhagen?
Locke Copenhagen is scheduled to open in early March 2026 and will be a key part of Copenhagen’s vibrant new district – Postbyen. Postbyen is a modern urban area in the heart of Copenhagen, located between the Central Station and Kalvebod Brygge. Locke Copenhagen will offer 234 stylish rooms spread across two iconic round towers, with rooms located up to 70 meters high, along with a signature restaurant, a buzzing cocktail bar, and a rooftop bar with stunning 360-degree views of the city and waterfront.
We're looking for full-time Night Hosts to join our team!
Start date: Latest 1 February 2026.
We open our doors on 2 March, which means that we would like the whole team to join us on-site one month earlier. This training period is a key part of bringing the hotel to life together; we will get to know the hotel, learn our systems, and build the foundation for a great opening. To give everyone the best possible start, this timeframe is fixed.
The role
Are you a natural host? A people person with next-level organisational skills? Do you get a kick from creating a seamless, welcoming experience?
Reporting to and supporting the Head Host, you’ll be a key member of the reception team and the face of the Locke brand. It’ll be up to you to make our guests feel at home from the minute they arrive, until the minute they leave (if they can bring themselves to do that…).
The positions are 151,6 hours per month: 5 days work, 5 days off.
Key Responsibilities:
- Guest Experience
Greet guests warmly at check-in and leave a lasting, positive impression at check-out. Create the kind of moments guests want to share with their friends and feel excited to return to. - Local Host
Be the approachable, friendly face that guests, visitors and contractors can rely on for help and information. Inspire guests with tips and insights on what to see, do and explore in the local area.
- Reservations & Enquiries
Handle reservations and questions online, by email, phone and in person with a confident, can-do attitude. - Cross-Department Collaboration
Communicate clearly with Housekeeping, Restaurant and Maintenance to keep operations smooth and consistent. - Cash & Payment Handling
Process payments and manage cash responsibly and accurately. - Feedback & Issue Resolution
Support with guest feedback and resolve any issues in a calm, professional and solution-focused way. - Safety
Security rounds during the night to make sure all our lovely guests are safe and happy.
You’ll succeed in the above with:
- Experience as a receptionist or in a guest-facing role (a plus, but not a requirement)
- Being yourself – we want you to bring your personality to work!
- Danish language
- Flexibility – this includes flexibility in working days (including weekends and bank holidays) and working hours
- Being proactive, responsible and reliable
Values you’ll share with us:
- Courage to question, evolve and be human
- Curiosity and creativity in how you think and work
- Confidence to challenge convention and look for better ways to do and be
- Accountability and the desire to empower those around you
